Join us for a unique opportunity of learning about critical media literacy with a distinguished expert in the field – Dr. Jeff Share from the University of California, Los Angeles.

The workshop aims to

  • deepen skills for critically questioning relationships between media, information and power;
  • brush up on the use of media and technology to empower civic participation, social transformation, and environmental justice;
  • expand competences for using media in various educational contexts.

Through applying a critical media literacy framework that has evolved from cultural studies and critical pedagogy, we will learn to analyse and challenge systemic injustice and create alternative media.

We warmly invite students as well as young researchers, teachers, teacher educators and anyone interested in the topic to participate.
